Our story

Job searching is confusing enough without predatory shortcuts.

We started Waypoint after watching too many people — recently laid off, exhausted, or just stuck — get funneled toward too-good-to-be-true "placement" schemes, paywalled resume templates, and vague advice that could apply to literally anyone. None of that helps when you're trying to figure out what to actually do this week.

Waypoint is built to be the opposite: free core content, written in plain language, with specific steps you can act on today. If you ever want more hands-on help, Waypoint Plus and a call with a career advisor are here — but nothing on this site is locked behind a sales pitch.
